Russian traffic light monitoring system "OKO" – CORE of the automatic traffic control system (ATCS)
The "OKO" system is used to monitor, diagnose and restore functioning of:
- Traffic traffic traffic control system conditions;
- Transport detection systems state;
- Video surveillance systems state.
Today, OKO processes about 3,000 traffic lights, helping operational services remotely monitor and fix problems in a short time. "OKO" works with all types of road controllers included in ITS in Moscow. Almost any modern road controller can be integrated into this system. The system allows to perform scheduled/emergency control of the object, to put the controller in various modes, including remote control mode.
With "OKO" the time of detection of equipment malfunction at the traffic light object takes no more than 6 minutes, while without its use this time is extended to several days. More than 30% of the malfunctions can be eliminated remotely, without the team being physically present at the object.
"OKO" functions
- 1. Monitoring the state of the road controller;
- Monitoring traffic lights;
- Monitoring the status of pedestrian phase call buttons, transport detectors and other devices connected to DC;
- Remote equipment diagnostics;
- Remote restoration of equipment health;
- Dispatch control of CO in emergency situations;
- Automatic creation of requests for emergency crews at fault recording on CO;
- Monitoring of communication with JI;
- Possibility of JI operation interlocking in ADMS and gun assembly mode;
- Storage of DC error logs;
- Generating reports on various operator requests to analyze CO health.
