Solution and results
Traffic light objects now work in a network / adaptive coordinated mode in the overhead traffic light control system «OKO» from «SpetsDorProekt».
Sovetskaya and Novotorzhskaya streets are operating synchronously: straight ahead, crossroads and pedestrian phases both there and there simultaneously depending on the traffic situation.
Intelligent traffic controllers «POTOK» receive data from inductive loop detectors and pedestrian phase call buttons and, based on the intensity of traffic flow, switch on the green light of different duration for different directions.
The duration of the pedestrian phase at these intersections has been increased!
