Tver has stepped into a new era of development!

We launched the first two «Smart Intersections» from «SpetsDorProekt» on Kominterna Street. Now the life of pedestrians, public transport passengers and drivers will change forever!

The basic rule is: no transport — no green phase, little transport — short phase, a lot — long phase. This is the beauty of the adaptive mode of traffic lights! 
Inductive loop detectors, intelligent traffic controllers «POTOK», the control system of traffic lights OKO and, of course, the intelligence of SDP’s traffic engineers — that is what creates the success. From 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. pedestrian phase call buttons: drivers don't get distracted at empty red lights, and pedestrians don't stand around waiting. Pass, pass, don't crowd!

Another team from SpetsDorProekt and Shvabe Moscow installed some white-moon phases «on trickle» and right-turn sections. Thanks to the adaptive mode of operation, so that the cycle time was reduced on average by 1.5-2 times, from 112 seconds to 40-70.

Our experts have saved two additional focuses at the intersection of Kominterna Street and Tchaikovsky Avenue

— The red light is on at night for everyone. Do not panic! When the inductive loop detectors read the approaching traffic, the green light instantly turns on for drivers. It's the same at crosswalks: push a button and you get a green light right away. 

— No timers on traffic lights and on red for pedestrians. That's because at Smart Crossings by SDP, the duration of the cycle depends solely on the situation on the road and the intensity of traffic. Each phase is unique.
