Tver! Three new smart intersections have been launched

SpetsDorProekt continues to work in Tver! Thanks to the assistance of Governor Igor Ruden, Federal Road Agency, Shvabe Moscow and SpetsDorProekt in Tver: + 3 new «Smart intersections»!

— The intersection of Efimova Street and Sofia Perovskaya Street. Roads are free even during the morning rush hour. We have reduced the waiting time for cars and pedestrians by half on average. Before that, everyone had to wait for their green light for almost 142 seconds! Cars have a green light along Sofia Perovskaya Street at night, while Yefimov Street was in a principle of a calling phase: you drive up - get green light in 6-10 seconds - leave without harrowing waiting. For pedestrians we installed phase call buttons.

— The intersection of Kalinin Avenue and Nogin Boulevard. Phases became shorter. On average, cars and pedestrians now spend two times less time waiting for their green light: the average cycle length during rush hour has decreased from 140 seconds to 80-90 seconds, and to 50-60 seconds during normal traffic. The left turn arrow was added.

— Intersection of Sofia Perovskaya Street and Belyakovskogo Lane. Now there is a reversible right-turn phase, in order to reduce duration of the cycle. We also installed left-turn arrows for two directions. And once again, we were able to reduce waiting times for everyone both during the day and at night!
